VLISCO

Internship at VLISCO (2023)

Creative Coordinator & Colour Specialist Designer

In 2023, I embarked on an enriching internship at VLISCO, where I have had the opportunity to work as both a Creative Coordinator and a Colour Specialist Designer within the Colour Department.

As a Creative Coordinator, I played a key role in supporting the management team by assisting with presentations, participating in sign-off meetings, and harnessing my planning and interpersonal skills to guide and support designers in their projects. One of my significant contributions has been to the Alfresco project, where I meticulously filled in essential information into the system, ensuring seamless collaboration within the team.

In my role as a Colour Specialist Designer, I delved into the world of colour design, creating a variety of colour palettes using different wax types, including Skywax, Grand Super, Super Wax, and Wax. A significant aspect of my work involved crafting presentations for our clients, known as swips, which showcased our designs in conjunction with model imagery. This helped communicate our creative vision effectively to our customers.

Additionally, I was responsible for organizing colour swatch samples in the studio, ensuring that our space was conducive to creativity and collaboration. I took care of monthly organization system for wall displays, enhancing accessibility to our colour resources for the entire team.

My time at VLISCO has been instrumental in refining my design and organizational skills, as well as deepening my understanding of the creative process within a dynamic grande fashion environment.

Portfolio files have been requested and will be added here shortly. Thank you for your understanding!
